I would like to thank all those of you who attended our 4th AGM. :) Yesterday was proof of true teamwork and democracy within our group. I would like to thank all the members, leaders, helpers, old council members, parents, and sponsors for their continous support. Also a warm welcome to the new council members. :)

Dear all,

I would like to inform you all that after 3 years of hard work we finally managed to officially get the land which will be used as our Headquarters. Today at around 12.00pm I signed the contract that states that the Xaghra Scout Group is to use the land in front of the Xaghra playing field for the coming years.

I would like to show my personal appreciation and gratefulness on behalf of the group to all the persons involved who worked hard for this great achievement. These persons are mainly Vince Vella, Fr Jesmond Gauci and Carmel Attard along with others.

I take this opportunity to ask for help. With new achievements come new responsibilities. As a group we are now responsible of carrying out the needed work on the place and use it to the best benefit of the whole group. For this all help is needed. Thus if you can help in: professional, manual, financial, fund raising/applying for funds and other ways kindly contact me by e-mail (gsl@xaghrascouts.com) or on phone (79333398). All your help, work, energy and enthusiasm will be greatly appreciated.

Help us create a Home for Xaghra Scout Group, a safe environment for your children and an other asset for the Gozitan Island.
